Pet Policy:
- East Edge is happy to accommodate dogs and cats upon approval.
- There is a 2-pet limit per apartment.
- We require residents to provide vet records along with a pet addendum.
- Restricted dog breeds are: Pit Bull, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Wolf Dog or any mix of these breeds.
- Please review our “Animal Addendum” for the full pet policy. We comply with all Fair Housing requirements. Valid service and/or support animals are not considered pets and therefore, are not subject to the pet policy.
Pet Fees
- A non-refundable pet fee of $300 due at signing
- An additional $35 monthly fee for each pet
The initial pet deposit is non-refundable and does NOT transfer from apartment to apartment. Failure to report a pet on the application and/or failure to register any pet once adopted will result in a $500 Pet Policy violation fee. The pet must then be removed from the apartment while a damage assessment is conducted. If the resident chooses to keep the pet, the $500 fee will transfer over to become the non-refundable pet deposit and per-month pet rent payments will be back charged to the beginning of your lease.
Please bring your pets down to the main office for an interview. We like to meet and get to know all of our residents, animals included. East Edge Apartments reserves the right to deny any pet application based on breed, size, and behavior.
